Web Developer by day, artist by night.

Ashley Reinhard is a multidisciplinary artist working in photography, drawing, painting, and fiber arts, with a primary focus on landscapes, plant life, and night sky imagery. Her work emphasizes intentional observation, using light, texture, and scale to invite slower, more attentive engagement with place. Influenced by her background in graphic design and visual communication, she approaches art with a strong sense of composition, clarity, and storytelling—balancing structure with organic discovery.

Ashley has considered herself an artist for as long as she can remember, beginning with chalk pastels and later exploring weaving, embroidery, and cross stitch as tactile, portable ways to create. In her late twenties, she turned to photography as both a creative outlet and a way to document travel, hiking, and quiet moments in nature. Working with a camera restored a sense of agency and play in her practice, allowing her to intentionally frame fleeting experiences and transform them into lasting images. Her travels across the United States—often by RV—continue to shape her visual language and deepen her connection to place.

Alongside her studio practice, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design and works professionally as a web designer and developer. While her digital work informs her visual sensibilities, she is continually drawn back to hands-on processes and slow making. She is passionate about immersive creative experiences—such as artist residencies—that allow for deeper observation and reflection, and she hopes to give back to the landscapes that inspire her by contributing artwork for educational and interpretive materials. Through her work, Ashley seeks to celebrate quiet beauty, attentive seeing, and the stories embedded in natural environments.
